A FRENCH CUIRASSIER HEAVY CAVALRY SWORD, dated 1813 but possibly a 20th Century reproduction, with 37 1/2 in. double-fullered unsharpened blade with inspection stamps towards ricasso, with arsenal inscription for Klingenthal October 1813 on the back, brass four-barred guard numbered 7058 and inspection marked, brown leather grip bound with copper wire, together with an associated black leather scabbard with copper fittings, blade with some rusting and staining, scabbard with wear and crudely made fittings, 46 in. overall
